2.7 Send booking confirmations, changes and cancellations via the Website and by email (unless a User has opted out of emails in notification settings).
2.8 Use reasonable endeavours to process Student payments and transfer Tutor Fees promptly (usually within 7 working days of a Lesson) where no Complaint or Failed Payment exists.

4. STUDENT RESPONSIBILITIES
4.1 TLV Hub is not responsible for the acts or omissions of Students or Tutors and is only responsible for its own.
4.2 Students booking for themselves must be 18+ . Where the learner is under 18, a parent or legal guardian must be the registered Student and must give consent, (this includes vulnerable adults over 18).
4.3 Keep your contact details accurate and up to date. We will contact you by email.
4.4 Bookings made more than 48 hours in advance must be confirmed at least 24 hours before the first lesson. Bookings made between 24–48 hours in advance must be confirmed at least 12 hours before. Bookings made within 24 hours must be confirmed no later than 6 hours before the lesson.

5.13 Non-circumvention (T). Tutors must not solicit or accept work outside TLV Hub from Students found via the Website during any period of confirmed Bookings and for six (6) months after the most recent Booking with that Tutor. 5.20 Tutors are responsible for attending the correct location on time. If late, Tutors must evidence that they contacted the Student and that the Student agreed to proceed at a later time. Failing this, Tutor Fees may need to be refunded.
5.21 Users acknowledge that lessons may be recorded; Tutors agree to the storage and use of such recordings by TLV Hub.
5.22 Tutors agree that lesson recordings may be shared with the relevant Student.
6. PAYMENT
6.1 The Lesson Fee will be displayed at the time of confirmation, on the Student’s dashboard, in reminder notifications, and in post-Lesson payment emails. Notice of any increase to the Lesson Fee components may be posted on the Website.
6.2 The Lesson Fee consists of the Tutor Fee and TLV Hub’s Service Fee. All fees include applicable VAT or sales taxes.
6.3 The Service Fee is payable by the Student for the services described in clause 2 and is applied as a percentage increase to the Tutor Fee.
6.4 The Student authorises TLV Hub to instruct Stripe to collect the Lesson Fee at least 48 hours before the scheduled start of each Lesson and, for Classes, at least 72 hours before the scheduled start of the first session. Stripe transfers collected Lesson Fees directly to TLV Hub’s business bank account.
6.5 Following successful collection, TLV Hub will pay the Tutor their Tutor Fee (net of any deductions agreed in these Terms) to the bank account details provided by the Tutor. Payment will usually be made within 7 working days after the Lesson has taken place, provided no Complaint or Failed Payment exists.
6.6 If a Student cancels within 24 hours of the scheduled start, payment may still be processed and refunded only in accordance with the cancellation terms in clause 7.
6.7 If a Student raises a Complaint, the Lesson Fee will still be collected in line with this clause and may be refunded to the Student if appropriate under these Terms.
6.8 For Online Lessons, where the Tutor attended the Online Classroom for at least 15 minutes from the scheduled start time, no refund will be due. If the Tutor fails to attend for at least the first 15 minutes, the Student will receive a full refund.
6.9 If a Lesson does not take place because a Student does not attend (whether in person or online), the Student will be charged the full Lesson Fee.
6.10 Payment processing from Students is provided by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd (“Stripe”) and is subject to the Stripe Services Agreement – United Kingdom (the “Stripe Terms”). By using TLV Hub, Students agree to the Stripe Terms. Tutors acknowledge that payments of Tutor Fees will be made by TLV Hub from its own bank account, and not directly by Stripe.
6.11 Tutor earnings may be held until TLV Hub has received cleared funds from Stripe and, where applicable, until any required verifications are completed.
7. CANCELLATIONS
7.1 A Student may cancel a Booking at any time before the scheduled start of a Lesson. Refunds or fees will depend on the timing of the cancellation.
7.2 All cancellations must be made through the TLV Hub Website. Cancellations made directly with a Tutor (e.g. by phone, text, or email) are not valid and may result in the Lesson Fee being retained.
7.3 48 hours or more before the scheduled start: the Student will receive a full refund of the Lesson Fee (including the Service Fee).
Between 24 and 48 hours before the scheduled start: the Student will receive a refund of the Tutor Fee only, with the Service Fee retained by TLV Hub.
7.4 Less than 24 hours before the scheduled start: refunds are at the Tutor’s discretion. The Student may receive a 50% refund or no refund (100% of the Lesson Fee retained). If the Tutor does not specify, TLV Hub will default to refunding 50% of the Lesson Fee.
7.5 Less than 6 hours before the scheduled start: a Late Cancellation Handling Fee of £5 may also apply, unless the Tutor chooses to retain 100% of the Lesson Fee. Students will never be charged more than the Lesson Fee plus this £5 fee.
7.6 No Late Cancellation Handling Fee applies if the Tutor retains 100% of the Lesson Fee.
7.7 The Late Cancellation Handling Fee does not apply where the Tutor cancels a Lesson less than 6 hours before the scheduled start and the reason provided shows that they are not cancelling on the Student’s behalf.
7.8 Tutors may cancel a Lesson at any time before it begins. Tutors must notify the Student via the Website and cancel the Booking. Where the Tutor cancels (not on the Student’s behalf), the Student will not be charged or, if payment has already been made, will receive a full refund.
7.9 Bookings cannot be cancelled once a Lesson has started. If a Student does not attend and has not cancelled in advance, the full Lesson Fee will be retained. In extenuating circumstances, TLV Hub and the Tutor may, at their discretion, grant a full or partial refund.
